The Giant's Loo Roll by Nicholas Allan

My Review

This is the second Nicholas Allan book we have had the pleasure of reading and it's really clear to see that he has a knack for writing hilariously! We were laughing out loud the whole way through this delightful read. The storyline is fabulous and the whole book rhymes in a sing song way, which makes reading out loud a real barrel of laughs. I adore the illustrations, they are bright, bold, colourful and full of character. A new favourite for us to read again and again, I don't think it will ever get old.

One day whole sitting on the loo, a giant's toilet roll just rolled away. It picked up speed and kept on rolling through towns and gathered quite a few followers along the way. The little towns people found the most creative ways to use the enormous squares of toilet paper that they acquired while the roll was passing through. But will the poor giant get his toilet roll back? Will there even be any paper left on that speedy roll? Well the ending is a real hoot!

The Giant's Toilet Roll is a real winner, I really do think adults and children alike will thoroughly enjoy this cheeky little book!
