Beauty is a kick-ass story. Oh how I wish Sarah Pinborough's gorgeously
wicked fairytale re-tellings could go on forever - they are so moreish.
This instalment is a Sleeping Beauty re-telling, but you will be delighted to know that Beauty isn't the only familiar face you will stumble upon - Sarah has expertly woven quite a few little bits and pieces in here, which makes it a bit of a mayhem mash up of awesomeness!
Turns out Beauty is a tad skitzo and when her dark side comes out to play there is hell to pay for everyone. She is tricked and a spell is cast over everybody and everything in the kingdom - until some wise guy barrels in and ruins everything.
I adored Beauty's dark side, she is totally wicked and likes the down and dirty. She is the polar opposite of Beauty, but she is so much more intriguing - I just couldn't wait for her to come out and play.
The ending rocked but I just wanted more, more and more....
Beauty is a super sexy tale full of fun, danger and excitement. It's a lightening quick page turner filled with the most fantastic writing. Personally I think this is the best out of the 3, but I very highly urge you to go read them all - like right NOW!
Les Edwards has done another brilliant job with all the fab little illustrations and the covers for these books make them such beautiful little keepers.
