My Review

*Please note that this review may contain spoilers if you haven't read the first book*

Zom-B Underground picks up after the major shockers at the end of the last book and the action was raging right from the off!

I was pulled right into this highly charged world again and I really enjoyed that this book is set in a different environment. A closed and very cramped environment that is very claustrophobic!

Shan's writing is on point and will enthral readers everywhere with his super rich descriptors and his eye to the gory detailing!

There are so many awesome revelations throughout this story and I loved each and every one. Shan knows how to pack a big punch and he does so relentlessly!

In this instalment we see B, trying to come to terms with her new....shall we say....way of life! It isn't easy and I think she handles everything thrown at her with typical laid back B charm! She finds herself locked up, being tested and tried because she is different!

Can B, escape her hellish prison? Can she ever get over her past demons?

The lead up to the ending is filled with super exciting action and the ending itself had me reaching for the next book.

Zom-B Underground is a lightening quick thrill ride, that is laced with humour and grizzly gore. Darren Shan is the master of horror and this 2nd instalment proves that point! Gimme more.....

4 / 5 Stars!
