My Review
This is just the perfect book for all those little girly girls out there! It really is fun filled and has a great little message! What little girl doesn't like to get all dressed up like a princess?
Well, Poppy and her friend get to plan and dress up for a royal parade. They plan the perfect party outfits and help everyone get things ready for the parade. Poppy agrees to help farmer Meadowsweet get the parade cart ready but she gets distracted and puts it off all week! She leaves it so long that the whole parade is nearly ruined because the cart isn't ready!
Poppy learns that it's nice to help people out but more importantly, when you agree to help somebody you should definitely keep you word because they are relying on you!
This is a great tale that is really well written and has the most marvellous illustrations! The only downside for us was that is is a little lengthy, especially for little people who are easily distracted!
Add The Royal Parade to your perfect princesses' wishlists today, because we really do think they will love it! Also do keep an eye out for more Princess Poppy books as there are quite a few out there!
