The Hueys in the New Jumper by Oliver Jeffers

My Review

I found it nearly impossible to pry this book away from my daughter as she likes to sleep with it safely tucked under her pillow. Anything by Oliver Jeffers my daughter falls in love with, she can even spot the illustrations he does in other books, The Terrible Thing That Happened to Barnaby Brocket for example, which was a little surprising, she is obviously a super fan! The Hueys is another fabulous instalment from Mr Jeffers, who's unique style always manages to put a smile on our faces. The Hueys are quirky little people that are very funny and quite charming. The storyline is simplistic and it works brilliantly, this is definitely a real winner that we have read so many times already I think I know it from memory.

The Hueys are simple little guys, each and every one of them are the same and that's the way they like it. Until one day a Huey gets himself a new jumper, he really does stand out like a sore thumb, Hueys everywhere talk about him disapprovingly until another Huey decides to give wearing a jumper a go too. And you'll never guess what happens next....

We love this book and we urge everyone to pick it up today because we think you will love it too!
