My Review
Wow, what a wonderfully imagined book from the super talented Quentin Blake! This tale is full of adventure, fun and excitement. The illustrations are out of this world and have that super distinctive Quentin Blake style. The descriptors coupled with the vibrant illustrations had us feeling like we were right there on an adventure alongside Jack and Nancy!
Jack and Nancy one day are blown away while holding on to their fathers huge umbrella. They end up on the most beautiful little island where they have some great fun. But in all the excitement it takes them a little while to realise they have no idea how they are going to get back home....
We adored Jack and Nancy, it is one of them magical tales that will never get old, no matter how many times you read it, and we will definitely be reading it over and over again. Yet again another fabulous must read from Quentin Blake that we can highly recommend!
