 My Review

Loved it!

The only thing that stopped me from giving this 5 stars was the confusion that I had at the start of the book, it is written from 4 different perspectives which was a little hard to get a handle on, but once I did I devoured this addictive book. Jeyn Roberts has crafted her world so fabulously here that I was left chilled to the bone. It is so realistically awesome that I sat in awe at how everything came together in such a mind boggling way. The writing style is brilliant and the descriptors are so on point that I felt every broken bone and every broken heart like I was living it myself. I have read storylines slightly like this in the past but really this tops everything, it is so complex and in-depth that anything could happen and it would be awesometastic!

There has been huge earthquakes all over the world leaving devastation everywhere in their wake. But there's more to it than the wreckage, the dead and the dying, the survivors are twisted, they are turning on each other killing and ruining everything in their path. There are some survivors that are not affected with this darkness, but with everything that's going on and not knowing who to trust, will these survivors even find each other out there?

Aries, Michael, Clementine and Mason are 4 survivors who are strong, determined to live and each on their own missions. They battle and fight viciously through towns, cities and wastelands in the hopes of staying alive but by a strange stroke of luck they will all be flung together unexpectedly! At least they will all have each other, right??

For the whole run up to the ending my heart was racing, I was biting my nails in anticipation and I wasn't let down, the ending itself is brilliant! I really can't wait to get started on my copy of the next book RAGE WITHIN! I have so many unanswered questions and I just love how the author has played things, not giving anything away. It had me guessing and making up different scenarios in my head and I'm excited to see if I am even slightly right...

4.5/5 Stars
