This is the third book in the fallen angles series and it picks up after the other left off, so I would definitely read them in order.
I did enjoy this book although there was a little something missing for me, I didn't really connect with the featured characters in the book, Veck and Reilly. Wards writing is still great tho with her fantastic one liners.
I sort of new from the start where the story was going so I wasn't surprised which path Veck chose. It was nice to get a clearer picture of Colin and Nigel's relationship, and to get a little more insight about the goings on up above. The parts with the angels Adrian, Eddie and Jim were the best for me, I'm not going to give anything away but there is a very sad part that forces them into a more solid relationship.
All in all it is a good read and I am looking forward to the next instalment. :)
